It has been reported that Manchester United and Ivory Coast’s Veteran Defender, Eric Baily is to be out of footballing activities for 2months due to an Injury sustained during the 4-0 defeat to Chelsea over the Weekend.
Quoting The Telegraph online magazine,’The Ivory Coast defender – a £30.4 million signing
from Villarreal in the summer – is likely to be out for
around two months after a full medical examination
revealed lateral ligament damage to his right knee.
Such a lay-off would rule Bailly out of United’s next
13 matches at least, starting with Wednesday’s EFL
Cup fourth-round game at home to Manchester City.
United face Arsenal, Everton and Tottenham Hotspur
over that period.’
No doubt this would be a big set back for the Manchester United which, add the moment, is struggling to catch-up with form.
Bailly has been one of United’s few success stories
this season, after adapting quickly to English football. Therefore, his absence will be a keen blow to The Special one’s Squad for that mean time.
By Calculation, Baily will return before the beginning of Ivory Coast Afcon title defence campaign.. A Cup they won in 2015.
